This notice is issued by Edessa Asansör (the “Company”) acting as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

Our website has no membership system or contact forms. When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, e-mail or in person, the following categories may be processed:

• Identity data: name, surname
• Contact data: phone number, e-mail address, postal address
• Customer transaction data: request and quotation content, survey and project records, maintenance contract details
• Transaction security data: technical access logs (IP address, date-time) kept by our hosting provider for site security

• Responding to enquiries; managing survey, engineering and quotation processes
• Concluding and performing contracts; providing installation, modernization, maintenance and after-sales services
• Fulfilling legal obligations, including invoicing and accounting
• Ensuring website security and service continuity

Your data is processed under Article 5/2 of KVKK on the bases that processing is (c) directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, (ç) necessary for the Company to comply with its legal obligations, and (f) necessary for the Company's legitimate interests provided your fundamental rights are not harmed. Optional cookies rely solely on your explicit consent.

Your personal data is not shared with third parties for marketing. It may be shared only, in line with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, with hosting and e-mail infrastructure providers to the extent required by the service, and with competent public authorities upon lawful request.

Data is collected by non-automatic means through phone, WhatsApp, e-mail and in-person communication, and by automatic means with respect to site access logs.

Personal data is retained for as long as the processing purposes require and for the statutory periods set out in legislation such as the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

The site does not use marketing or tracking cookies for visitors. The cookies and similar technologies used are:

• Strictly necessary cookie: used only in the site administration panel for authorised user sessions (edessa_admin_sess). It is never set for visitors.
• Preference record: your cookie-notice choice is kept in your browser's local storage and contains no personal data.
• Optional analytics cookies: currently not in use. If introduced, they will run only with your explicit consent given via the cookie notice.

You can reset your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information about such processing,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
• Know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• Request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7,
• Request that corrections and deletions be notified to third-party recipients,
• Object to a result arising against you from analysis made exclusively by automated systems,
• Claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.

You may submit requests concerning your rights in writing to the address above or by e-mail to [email protected], in accordance with the Communiqué on Application Procedures. Applications are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.

The Company may update this notice in line with legislative changes; the current version is always published on this page.
